Mario Kart 7

There is last than a month to the release of the new game featuring Mario. Mario Kart 7 will be available only for Nintendo 3DS but it should be a really good game.

There will be some new in this game. Players can use air gliders to help navigating in the air and helices to drive underwater. In MK7, you will be able to customize your kart, choosing the wheels, accessories and the body of the kart. Also, there will be sixteen new tracks and sixteen classic tracks, from previous MK games. Motorbikes are not part of the game but, since you can use air gliders, they are not going to be missed.

 

There are seventeen drivers. Four of them will be new drivers: Lakitu, Metal Mario, Wiggler and Honey Queen. The rest of them are: Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Koopa Troopa, Princess Daisy, Wario, Rosalina, Shy Guy and Mii.

A Mario Kart game without items is not Mario Kart. MK7 has three new items: Fire Flower, Super Leaf and Lucky 7. Using the Fire Flower, a racer can throw Fireballs forward or backward to hit his opponents. The Super Leaf will create a tail in the back of the kart, which can be used to hit other karts and also to protect from other items. When the Lucky 7 is used, seven items will appear surrounding the racer's kart. The race can use them one by one.
